If you get too many pictures on your harddrive, downloaded or uploaded from several different sources, it may happen that you have many duplicates. In that case you need a quick and easy to use program that finds and deletes all your duplicates.
VisiPics does more than just look for identical files, it goes beyond checksums to look for similar pictures and does it all with a simple user interface.
First, you select the root folder or folders to find and catalogue all of your pictures.
It then applies five image comparison filters in order to measure how close pairs of images on the hard drive are.

What to do? “paste option is invisible when right click on mouse”

Not sure if your paste option is just grayed out (inactive) or really invisible. If it’s just grayed or not active, it means nothing was copied and you need to go back to the copy and try again. Use the edit -> copy if you tried the mouse right click copy first. Sometimes, it means the computer really needs a reboot to begin working right again.
With XP, you can also try Control Panel ->System -> Advanced -> Performance Settings ->Adjust for best performance. Remember you can always set it back where it was if you need to.
Another thing to try is right click on your desktop and select Properties -> Appearance ->Effects and uncheck the top box that controls fade or scroll effect for your menus.
Sorry, I am not using Vista on this machine and don’t know if the settings are the same for that software.

News from Sqipcom

Christian has sent out a news email and it looks like the new messenger at Sqipcom will be called “Q”.
I like that and think it has potential to become very popular. Lots of hints at what will be coming on the new site. The site launch seems to be a bit delayed, and Christian has said it’s related to getting the payment gateway correctly set up. Payments are now handled exclusively by Towah and can be processed by cell phone. There are always lurches and bumps on a start up and this is a large project; so the problems are most likely large as well. We are trying to be patient!

Not a whole lot has changed there today….waiting to see what the site will look like.
